Annual Fire Safety Test Please read carefully
The Annual Fire Safety testing of in-suite and common element areas is scheduled for Thursday September 1 to Thursday September 8, 2022.
In suite testing is scheduled Tuesday September 6th and Wednesday September 7th, 2022.Access to all suites is necessary. Testing will include key access, the speaker, smoke detector(s), carbon monoxide detector(s) (in some cases only) and the door closer(s). All suites must be on the master key system and no additional locks are permitted.
The contractor cannot schedule appointments.
The speaker, smoke detector and door closer are the responsibility of the Shareholder and must be operable. If these items are found to be deficient or expired at the time of the inspection the shareholder will be charged for repair or replacement. After repair or replacement the fire safety company must make a return visit to verify compliance.
The audio component will be tested and bells will ring intermittently.
Common area elements including the elevator shafts, hydro vault and common corridors will be tested.
Trace Fire Protection has been contracted to perform this service.
A Kensington staff member will accompany the technicians at all times while in individual suites.
