The 2022 Board Nominating Committee includes Jack Ground, chair, Zoe Cormack Jones, Sue McMurtry and Sandy Moore, current board president. They are looking to fill two vacant positions on the 9 member board for election at the Annual General Meeting on May 31, 2022.
WHO CAN APPLY ?….All shareholders in good standing who are residents, and/or their spouses, and have lived at KAL for at least one year.
WHAT IS THE JOB ?…..Be prepared to volunteer for up to a three-year term, potentially be a liaison person to one of our committees, attend monthly board meetings ( free food in non-Zoom meetings ) show up and be your best KAL self.
HOW MUCH TIME IS REQUIRED ?…A minimum of 5 - 6 hours per month.
WHAT SKILLS AND ABILITIES MUST I BRING ?….Be a good listener, collaborative problem-solver and be passionate about doing “ the right thing “ to protect our assets in the long run and improve the quality of life for all of us at KAL.
You DO NOT need to be a financial wizard, have held executive positions or give up planned vacations.
